How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Commercial Operating Model Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the commercial team’s processes and ways of working are both efficient and effective. You’ll provide recommendations to enhance commercial systems and processes, and help embed these improvements across the team. Your work will ensure the team has robust, fit-for-purpose processes in place to support the launch of new suppliers and product ranges in stores.

A day in your life could look like

  • Play a key role within the central commercial function with a detailed understanding of the key commercial processes that enable us to trade effectively.
  • Ensure that processes are fit for purpose and that in particular the admin function and the buying teams are clear on how they follow these procedures.
  • You will drive continuous improvement in ways of working, seeking to optimise processes to improve productivity .
  • You will be the data sponsor for the commercial team, and the main point of contact for the ERP project team as we continue to embed and adopt a new system.
  • You will be accountable for the following process list including but not limited to:
    • Coordination and lead of team of Buyer’s Administrators.
    • Maintenance of pricing and promotional strategies.
    • Support the commercial team with troubleshooting of systems issues with IT support team.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be supported with on-the-job training and mentorship.

The following qualities are key

  • Proactive mindset and eager to learn
  • Previous Commercial/Retail admin experience required. 
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial processes and systems. 
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with ERP and Microsoft Dynamics highly desirable.  
  • Great communication skills and stakeholder management.  
  • Strong numerical skills.  
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.
