About the Role
As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you bring a genuine passion for coffee and great service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines.
You will also be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to cafe standards.
- Greeting and interacting with customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Operating POS system and ensuring front of house is always well presented.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe.
- Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Cafe all rounder experience in a fast paced environment with minimum 1 year of barista experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience with working with food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the drive to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
- Ideally 1 year of food prep experience - comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen (highly advantageous).
- Food safety certificate advantageous.
