In Australia & New Zealand our thriving business operates across four cutting-edge industrial bakeries in VIC, NSW and New Zealand, supported by large-scale distribution centres in key locations and fuelled by the dedication and passion of valued employees. We are now entering an exciting growth phase launching a brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery manufacturing site in Nambeelup, WA (12km from Mandurah, 60km south of Perth).

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the WHS Manager APAC, this impactful role will see you partnering with operational leaders and key stakeholders to drive the strong safety culture, lift safety performance and drive continuous improvements.

As the WHS Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert WHS support across our established Dandenong South VIC site and Port Adelaide SA distribution centre, while also leading the implementation of a strong ‘zero harm’ culture from day one at our brand-new flagship manufacturing site in Nambeelup WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a proactive, people-first safety culture.
• Coach our team with WHS and quickly build trusting relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide expert WHS advice across WA and VIC bakeries and SA distribution centre.
• Champion compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and ARYZTA policies.
• Support the safe commissioning and start-up of our new WA bakery.
• Drive WHS initiatives aligned with APAC and Global strategies.
• Support our team with risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver WHS onboarding and training for new and existing team members.
• Monitor WHS data, identify trends and implement improvements.
• Support consultation processes, including site HS&E Committees.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced WH&S professional who brings confidence, sound judgement and a genuine passion about keeping people safe. You’ll be someone who builds trust quickly, coach confidently at all levels and can balance the needs of both start-up and established sites.

The successful candidate will also bring:

• Formal WH&S qualification (minimum Certificate IV).
• 5+ years’ WH&S experience ideally in manufacturing or operations environments.
• Proven ability to design and deliver impactful WH&S programs that lift capability and performance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WH&S legislation and standards.
• Expertise in incident investigations, notifiable incidents and regulatory interaction.
• Confident coach and influencer with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Workers Compensation processes (WA & VIC ideal).
• Strong systems capability (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams).
• Resilience, adaptability and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Availability for intestate travel.
