Part Time Basis
- Competitive base pay rates: $42.12- $47.24 + superannuation
- Part Time Basis allowing for flexibility
- Based at our Ron Conn Nursing Home in Avondale Heights (VIC)
Your new role:
We are currently seeking Enrolled Endorsed Nurses (EENs) to join our team in permanent part-time positions. Each position offers 7 shifts per fortnight, with shifts rostered between 7:00 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care. Your roster will be determined by ad hoc opportunities to provide relief to the residential team, and applicants with the best availability will be prioritised
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Observing and reporting changes in resident’s behaviour or physical condition
- Undertaking medication management and treatment procedures as directed by the Residential Site Manager or person in charge
- Liaising with medical practitioners, pharmacists and other health services to provide relevant services for the care and wellbeing of the residents
- Assisting the RN1 with clinical requirements of residents
- Assisting in the implementation of cigarette and alcohol programs
- Observing and reporting changes in residents behaviour or physical condition and maintain appropriate documentation as required
- Providing direct care and emotional support to residents
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Ability to work both in team and autonomously
- Cert IV/Diploma of Nursing (with current AHPRA Registration)
- Prior experience in housing & homelessness support, aged care, welfare, disability support, mental health or community/home care
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to enhance or maintain our residents’ independence and lifestyle
- A friendly and non-judgmental attitude
