About the role
Wintringham’s Home Support Team is seeking experienced Rostering & Allocations Officers to join our team. The role is responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff rosters for the Support at Home program, ensuring participants receive consistent, reliable and high-quality services. Reporting to the Senior Rostering Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Preparing, maintaining and distributing staff rosters in accordance with Wintringham’s Collective Agreement.
- Allocating services to Care and Support Workers based on participant needs, workforce availability and organisational requirements.
- Coordinating workforce coverage for planned and unplanned leave, escalating unfilled shifts as required to maintain service continuity.
- Maximising internal workforce utilisation, minimise staff travel time and reduce reliance on agency staff where possible.
- Communicating roster updates, leave arrangements and service changes to employees, participants, representatives and key stakeholders in a timely manner.
What are we looking for?
- Certificate III (minimum) in a relevant field (i.e. Aged Care, Disability, Health, Office Administration, IT, Community Services). Experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination, with knowledge of rostering systems and service planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide professional customer service.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and operate within established policies and procedures.
- High-level computer skills, including rostering software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside ordinary hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required to meet operational needs.
What we offer
- Employment type: We have three (3) permanent full-time roles available. Please indicate which role you are interested in when you apply
- Role 1: working Monday – Friday, 76 hours/fortnight, working a variety of hours from 7am-5pm
- Role 2: working Tuesday – Saturday, 76 hours/fortnight, working a variety of hours from 7am-5pm
- Role 3: working Sunday – Thursday, 76 hours/fortnight, working a variety of hours from 7am-5pm
- Pay: $41.2925/hour plus super (depending on your qualifications & experience) Above Award pay and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.
- Location: Flemington or Braeside.
