About the role
Wintringham is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Housing & Homelessness Support team on a permanent full-time basis. This position will work collaboratively with Tasmanian and Victorian based Wintringham staff to ensure a collaborative team culture is maintained. The position will also ensure that service delivery practices are consistent with Wintringham philosophy, values and mission.
- Lead and supervise housing and homelessness support teams, including staff working with clients experiencing homelessness and highly complex psychosocial needs.
- Oversee case management and service delivery, ensuring client needs, duty of care, privacy, quality standards, legislation and organisational policies are met.
- Build strong partnerships and represent Wintringham by collaborating with community, health, homelessness services and government agencies to coordinate effective support.
- Manage people, performance and resources, including recruitment, staff development, supervision, budgets, expenditure, compliance reporting and critical incidents.
- Drive quality, collaboration and continuous improvement, promoting Wintringham’s values of dignity, rights and social justice while supporting best-practice service delivery.
What are we looking for?
- A qualification in Social work, Welfare, Community Services or a related discipline. A current motor vehicle driving licence and First Aid Certificate 2.
- Strong leadership experience in homelessness, housing or community services, particularly supporting people with complex psychosocial needs.
- Case management and service delivery expertise
- Strong knowledge of the sector and compliance, including homelessness and housing services, My Aged Care, NDIS, government requirements and relevant legislation.
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships, engage with diverse backgrounds and promote wellbeing, dignity and social justice.

- Pay: Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.
