About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join and lead the team based at our Liverpool, NSW bakery.

Reporting to the Head of Planning, this key role will drive the inventory and warehouse strategy, implement best practises, streamline processes, and optimise inventory levels to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an inventory and warehouse management strategy for Fresh & Frozen bakery production.
• Ensure compliance with ARYZTA WHS&E systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain & Operations to manage Raw Material and Packaging requirements.
• Implement rigorous quality and quantity checks on incoming Raw Materials and Packaging.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, GMP, critical ingredient, allergen systems, and food safety standards.
• Optimize warehouse layout for accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement FIFO and/or FEFO management to reduce wastage.
• Enhance the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Achieve a sustainable Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) and address discrepancies.
• Improve IT systems, SOPs, stocktake variance.
• Maintain frozen finished goods dispatch integrity and compliance with FEFO principles.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster effective teamwork.

About You

The successful candidate will bring previous experience in a similar fast paced role, ideally within the FMCG industry. The role will suit someone who can think strategically to build efficiencies, cost savings and capabilities for the future.

To thrive in this role, you will also poses:

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage diverse, dynamic teams.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g GP Dynamics, MRP) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, capable of building at all levels and managing complex situations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of driving results while fostering productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and change management skills.
• Time and project management skills, able to prioritise and multitask.
