Living and working in Noonkanbah - Is it for you?

Our staff embrace, and are motivated by, our challenge, context and remote location. But living and working in Noonkanbah is far removed from what many are used to, and can be a demanding career and life choice. We’re a small community in a remote location, some distance from the nearest major town. Typically, our staff spend their time exploring our beautiful surroundings and taking advantage of the adventure offered by living remotely. It’s important to develop hobbies and to plan activities – fun won’t come and find you. Most importantly, the demands of our role should not be underplayed. You’ll have good days and bad, and we all try to start each day anew, fresh and ready for the challenge. We hope you will too.

You’ll experience life and teaching like never before, and you’ll play an active part in helping close the gap in Aboriginal education. You’ll be tested every day, as you adapt and strive to connect, educate and inspire. You will be guided and supported as you embrace the challenge and set new horizons - for yourself and for students who truly need you.

For your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration ($75,000 - $95,000) based on your skills and experience plus super.

Further information regarding salary and accommodation will be discussed during the interview process.

If, for you, challenge means reward… if living means learning… Kulkarriya might just be the opportunity you’ve been looking for - Apply Now!
