Trade Qualified Plumber

About the Role

The Building Services team is seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for a trade qualified plumber to fulfil a temporary contract.

 

Reporting to the Building Services Supervisor and working in a dedicated team, you will be accountable for routine servicing, inspections, preventative maintenance, breakdowns, troubleshooting, along with general repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure to support its safe and efficient operations.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Undertake general plumbing maintenance trade services in accordance with the Plumber Job Model to support the efficient operation of all GPC infrastructure and equipment
  • Perform skilled work in the repair, installation and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and piping systems.
  • Undertake safe work practices and promptly address any safety issues for hazard minimisation and injury prevention.
  • Organise work schedule, prioritising against established maintenance plans and strategies.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment and can show initiative, with excellent customer service and communications skills.

The successful applicant will be required to hold a current Plumbing / Draining licence, a current Queensland Class 'C' Driver's Licence and a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
