Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care, housing and services. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania.

 

Your new role

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our tight-knit team at our Barwon Office (in Geelong) on a Part Time basis. The role will span 25 hours per week providing administrative support to managers and coordinator.

 

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to Regional Managers – Community Services, Site Coordinators and Case Managers
  • Develop, co-ordinate and maintain the administration functions and program records of the office. 
  • Manage the office petty cash and monitor clients’ trust money including counting, recording, and signing in and out of money.
  • Enter data into Pay global (MYOB), Epicor and Riskware, as required.
  • Other administrative duties as directed by the Site Coordinator or Regional Manager

 

 

What we will require from you:

  • Excellent administration skills (previous experience in a similar role within aged care/health care is highly advantageous)
  • Strong Financial management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • An understanding of Aged Care processes
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and time manage efficiently
  • Strong IT skills and great knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A caring and non-judgmental approach with the ability to work with people from varying socio-economic backgrounds
