About the role
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking a Labourer to join the Recreation Section. The successful candidates will be required to undertake various labouring and general grounds maintenance duties throughout Council areas including parks, reserves, open spaces, and cemeteries, as well as performing other associated labouring duties as required.
Key Requirements
- A current Class C Drivers Licence
- WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Sound knowledge of mowing and labouring operations
- Adequate numeracy and literacy skills to fulfil the requirements of the position
- The agreement to take leave in accordance with the Recreation Section's leave roster outside the recognised peak growing season

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
Salary: $947.10 to $995.03 per week + Level 1 adverse working conditions allowance of $18.28 + super
Position Status: Permanent Full-time
Hours of work: 38 hours per week with an RDO every third week
