The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to coordinate the continuous improvement, implementation, and delivery of Council’s property and procurement services, including the management of Council’s owned and managed land portfolio, leases and licenses, as well as purchasing, tendering, and contract services.
As Property and Procurement Coordinator, you will coordinate all aspects of the lease and licence process for Council owned and managed land and buildings as well as identify and lead the implementation of good governance and compliance processes relating to procurement. You will maintain Council’s procurement framework, systems, and processes to ensure usability and compliance.
About You
We are seeking an individual who has diploma level qualification in procurement, management, or equivalent related qualification and has a minimum five (5) years’ experience as a procurement professional.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of procurement, including tendering and public sector governance.
- Knowledge of the Native Title Act, Local Government Act, and Crown Land Management regulations.
- Frontline management and leadership skills.
- High level written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. Remuneration is $1810.40 per week, plus 10.5% employer superannuation contribution.
