Central Highlands Regional Council is searching for a driven, enthusiastic, and confident trainee to join our Customer Service team. This is an opportunity to gain full time, paid work whilst working towards a Certificate III in Business. As a trainee you’ll be exposed to a range of tasks and opportunities to develop practical skills in the workplace and through a formal training process. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- A growth mindset and passion for learning with the ability to complete a Nationally Recognised Qualification (Certificate III in Business) within 12 months
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Confident communication skills
- A professional attitude
- A good work ethic including reliability and punctuality
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to be self-motivated
- An interest in and genuine commitment to working in a community facing role in customer service

To be eligible for this traineeship you must:
- Be at least 15 years old;
- Be able to meet the citizen, residency, and Visa requirements to undertake a traineeship; and
- Not hold a qualification that is equal to or higher than the qualification in the same field as your traineeship.
