Remuneration: Stream A, Level 2-3: $69,241.11-$80,156.55 + Superannuation

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a customer focused Stores Officer to join the team based in Emerald. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, a team player and have an enthusiastic approach to customer service. You will also be results driven and have the ability to be adaptable to accommodate continuous changing priorities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Ordering and receipting goods
  • Liaising with external goods providers
  • Preparing and completing stocktakes
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated understanding of warehousing and stores operations
  • A flexible and resourceful approach and a positive attitude to competing priorities and requests
  • Competent level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite and other computer programs
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a diverse team
  • QLD Drivers Licence
