The Waste Coordinator supervises the day to day resources requirements in order to ensure efficient processing of solid waste and recycling. This includes:

  • Coordination of operations at Whylandra Landfill.
  • Sourcing and supervision of required resources – plant, labour, materials.
  • Customer liaison including weighbridge operation.

This is a full-time temporary position up to 12 months.


  • Day to day coordination of plant and resources
  • Coordinate the activities performed by the waste team 


  • Demonstrated work related experience in waste and recycling operations.
  • Class HR Drivers License and plant operator competence including mechanical aptitude.
  • General administrative skills demonstrating a competent level of literacy and numeracy and basic computer skills with experience in email and Microsoft office programs.
  • General Construction Induction card.
  • Good customer service and verbal communication skills.


You will be a hands on leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a high level of time management skills and attention to detail. Additionally, you have the demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: $64,721-$75,218 per annum plus superannuation.
