Helping Hand has an opportunity for a Lead Registered Nurse to join our North Adelaide residential site. This role will be looking after IDDSI and Nourishment Assessment in North Adelaide and other Metro sites. As a Lead RN you are responsible for:
/ Updating residential client nutrition/hydration and diet preference assessments into a new format on a site-by site basis,
/ Monitoring progress of additional input by speech pathologists sand dietitians,
/ Ensuring updated assessments/care plans are distributed to hotel services and care staff.
Skills & Experience
/ Current practicing Certificate as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency,
/ Demonstrated understanding of the aged care sector and contemporary issues relating to Aged Care Industry,
/ Good written communication skills with strong assessment skills,
/ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly structured project environment,
/ Flexible availability: work will be in up to ten blocks of 1 to 2 weeks with potential for gaps of a week or more between the blocks.
/ Available at least four weekdays per week
