Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care, housing and services. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania

Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham’s residential, housing and community care services.

 

Your new role

An opportunity exists for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Head Office team as a Part Time Receptionist / Administration Assistant. In this busy and dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming Wintringham Head Office phone calls. You will also be responsible for welcoming and assisting Wintringham Head Office visitors as well as providing secretarial and administrative support to the  People & Culture  team. In this  part time role, you will be required to cover 1 to 2 days a week depending on your availability.

 

 

Your duties and responsibilities will also include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinating Head Office daily correspondence systems including: internal mail system, registered post and emails.
  • Maintaining stationery supplies and purchase stationary for Head Office
  • Printing, collating and distributing of documentation/information packs for various departments/sites/offices
  • Processing of invoices and management of Head Office petty cash
  • Provide secretarial and data entry support to various departments on an as-needs basis as requested by the Senior Business Partner

What we’ll require from you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (highly advantageous)
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Professional and friendly phone manner
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, staff and management
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst also contributing to the reception team
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Successful candidates will be required to comply with the Wintringham Health and Immunisation policy including having three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine as well as a 2024 Influenza vaccination before commencing employment and must provide evidence.
