HSW is on the lookout for a Casual Sustainability Steward to join our award winning Sustainability team. In this role you will support the Safety, Sustainability & Maintenance Manager to ensure that the highest standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchens and contribute to our strong passion in creating a more sustainable precinct.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Separating waste streams
• Cleaning waste rooms
• Handling compost
• Using baling machine to crush cardboard, plastic bottles and cans
• Record keeping

What we’re looking for: 

• No experience necessary. Knowledge of kitchen operations is an advantage.
• This role requires heavy lifting.
• Flexibility with rostering including weekend work (AM & PM shifts such as 3am finishes)
• 7 day availability is preferred. 
• Work collaboratively with others
• Must have own form of transportation due to late finishes
