integratedliving is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Allied Health Assistant - Podiatry to join our dynamic team. This is an amazing opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of older adults in our community.

  • This opportunity will see you work from our Ballarat clinic as well as visiting clients in their own home in and around the Ballarat region.
  • This is a permanent part time opportunity working Monday - Thursday.

As an Allied Health Assistant - Podiatry, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional podiatric care and support to our valued clients. Your care and dedication will contribute to enhancing their mobility, comfort, and overall well-being.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting the Podiatrist in conducting assessments, treatments, and interventions for older adults.
  • Providing personalised foot care, and foot health education in accordance with the Podiatrist's care plan.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Supporting clients in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life.

 

What you will need

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry).
  • Proven experience working as an Allied Health Assistant- Podiatry, preferably with older adults.
  • Strong knowledge of podiatric practices, foot care techniques, and common foot conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
