The Position

- 11 months maternity leave Contract - February 2025 to December 2025 + No weekend work
As an Exercise Physiologist at integratedliving you will be part of dedicated allied health care team focused on promoting the wellbeing of our aged and vulnerable clients, to live independent lives in their own community. As a clinician you will have a passion for working with older clients. You understand the complex issues that impact health as we age and are aware of how to promote care plans and prescribe exercise plans that connect with this demographic.
With a focus on community based care you will work at our Newcastle and Raymond Terrace Wellness Centres to assess client health and tailor health plans. You will be part of an Allied Health team full of supportive and highly skilled individuals who are always collaborating for the best outcomes for our clients. You will also be supported on your continuous professional development journey. As a SME you will provide valued input to inform and educate your peers and work collaboratively to balance strategic and operational workloads that support care for a large client base.
You will be involved in complex and challenging work and play a lead role in developing networks and partnerships with important stakeholders within the local community. You will promote our Wellness Gym exercise programs and services, and champion our client centric clinical services framework.

What will you need to be considered for the role?
- Bachelor Exercise Physiology or a Masters of Exercise Physiology Degree
- Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA) registration
- Satisfactory Police check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver license and ability to travel for client care
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team and exposure to collaborative practices
- Sound clinical knowledge and ability to deal with complex issues
