We are expanding and looking for a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our thriving Wellness Centre in Cairns! If you're eager to make a difference in the health and well-being of our community, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic, supportive team.

The Position
- Permanent full-time role - Monday to Friday (preferred) OR,
- Permanent Part Time role (3-4 days/week) for the right candidate
- Work from our Cairns Wellness centre
- Working with elderly clients and positioning health plans in a way that connects with them
- Collaborating with other health professionals to develop care plans that promote health and wellbeing for older clients

As an Exercise Physiologist, you'll be part of a passionate team focused on delivering tailored health plans and exercise programs to older clients, addressing the complex issues that come with aging.
You’ll work at our Cairns Wellness Centres, assessing client health and creating personalized plans. Join a supportive, highly skilled Allied Health team where collaboration leads to the best client outcomes. You’ll also have continuous professional development opportunities and contribute your expertise to educate and guide your peers.
In this role, you'll be involved in complex work, building relationships with local stakeholders, promoting our Wellness Gym programs, and supporting our client-centric care framework.

What will you need to be considered for the role?
- Bachelor Exercise Physiology or a Masters of Exercise Physiology Degree
- Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA) registration
- Satisfactory Police check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver license and ability to travel for client care
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team and exposure to collaborative practices
- Sound clinical knowledge and ability to deal with complex issues
