About the Role:
As a Clinical Practice Advisor, you will be the go-to expert for clinical advice and support, coaching integratedliving staff and empowering them to deliver high-quality, client-centred care. You will influence clinical practices across the organisation, working closely with predominantly non-clinical stakeholders to champion best practice and ensure compliance with Aged Care Standards.
Key aspects of the role include:

Providing expert clinical advice and leadership to staff, clients, and carers.

Leading the development of clinical practice support plans and maintaining service delivery standards.

Managing the Clinical Helpdesk and delivering monthly reports on trends, issues, and recommendations for quality improvement.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and organisational projects with expert clinical insights.

Sharing knowledge across teams through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration, ensuring alignment with best practice and regulatory frameworks.

Key Role Responsibilities
-
Provide expert clinical advice and leadership to frontline teams, supporting best practice and improving client experiences and outcomes.

Lead the development and implementation of clinical practice support plans and client-centred care plans.

Manage and report on the Clinical Helpdesk, identifying trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Resolve clinical issues and escalate complex matters outside of policy or precedent appropriately.

Drive initiatives to enhance processes, efficiencies, and client services, while providing guidance across teams on clinical policies and procedures.
Key Role requirements
-
Current Division 1 APHRA Nursing Registration with a minimum of 5 years' recent clinical experience and strong clinical reasoning skills.

Graduate Certificate highly desirable in Gerontological Nursing, Aged Care, Community Health, or Leadership and Management.

Strong knowledge of aged care funding models, regulatory frameworks, and Aged Care Quality Standards.

Proficient in digital systems with excellent communication skills across various platforms.

Demonstrated clinical leadership, holistic assessment skills, and ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with a valid Police Check and CPR Certificate.
