Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. The College has a vacancy for a Maintenance and Services Team Leader commencing as soon as possible or at a suitably negotiable date.  This is a full-time, position with an annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000 dependant upon experience and qualifications, including the private use of a College vehicle.  The position is for 38 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours as necessary/required.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  1. Applicants must have a Blue Card (Working with Children) or be eligible to apply for a Blue Card;
  2. Relevant experience and qualifications in the area of building, supervision and co-ordination;
  3. The ability to prioritise tasks and follow direction;
  4. The capacity to work within strict timelines;
  5. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  6. Commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College

The ideal applicant will be required to:

  • Within a variety of routines, methods and procedures, support the Co-ordinator of Infrastructure and Projects.
  • Supervise team members to ensure the efficient provision of a range of building and maintenance functions.
  • Apply knowledge of advanced functions of computer software packages relevant to building and maintenance processes including CAD, databases, spreadsheets and graphs.
  • Liaise with accounts payable
  • Project work as directed
