The role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team at the Manning Regional Art Gallery. This is a casual position and will be responsible for delivering friendly, professional customer service to gallery visitors and supporting gallery operations, including exhibition installations, data entry, and events supervision.

Strong communication skills and the ability to mange customer interactions face-to-face, by phone, and electronically is essential to this role. You will be enthusiastic in delivering frontline services across our diverse customer base and will actively promote Council's brand and values to our community. .

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a busy work environment.
  • A genuine interest in art and cultural activities in the local community.
  • Strong problem solving skills and an interest in learning new skills.
  • Experience in cash handling.
  • Confidence in navigating a range of software and systems.

Remuneration: $29.68 per hour plus 25% casual loading. 

Location: This position will be based at the Manning Regional Art Gallery, 12 Macquarie Street, Taree NSW 2430.

Tenure: Casual.
