The building has been named ‘Yalawanyi Ganya’ which means “sitting/meeting place” in the Gathang language of the indigenous people across the MidCoast Region.
The role & you
Reporting to the Customer Services Librarian the Branch Librarian will lead a small team within this library service. The Branch Librarian is responsible for managing the library function, including supervision of a small team, to ensure the achievement of outcomes in line with organisational and departmental strategies, objectives, vision and values.
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the Forster Library located at 4-12 Breese Parade, Forster NSW 2428. In 2023, the Library will be moving to a new iconic venue in Lake Street, Forster.
Tenure: Permanent Full Time, 35 hours a week
The package: Commencing salary package circa $62,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
