One Door Mental Health (ODMH) is looking for a Clinical Educator to join our incredible headspace team at Campbelltown on a fixed term part-time basis.

About the Program

The headspace program’s mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australian’s aged 12 – 25. This includes providing funding to improve services for young people who may be experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues and the latest information about these important health issues for young people.

About the Role

The headspace Campbelltown Clinical Educator is funded to support the implementation of the NSW Recovery Program at the headspace services. The NSW Recovery Program includes student placements. The Clinical Educator role is designed to increase senior clinician support for students and facilitate connections to universities. This position will work closely with the Centre Manager and other members of the Headspace Campbelltown team and external organisations.

Your skills and experience

  1. Current registration with AHPRA or AASW
  2. Minimum 3 years’ experience post-qualification
  3. Eligibility for Board Approved Supervisor status. Candidates who are Board Approved Supervisors will be highly regarded.
  4. Experience in assessment of mental health disorders, and provision of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
  5. Experience working with young people and their families and carers
  6. Demonstrated skills in professional supervision, field supervision, coaching and mentoring.
  7. Experience in coordinating and facilitating student placement.
  8. Ability to engage with external stakeholders and develop relationships/partnerships with organisations such as universities.
  9.  A high standard of computer literacy and data entry competency.
  10. Current driver’s license and have access to own vehicle
