About The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of clients' financial records while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring junior accountants and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Ensuring service excellence and adherence to maintain high standards across the team
  • Preparing and reviewing income tax returns to meet statutory requirements for your clients
  • Coordinating taxation compliance, including year-end income tax, FBT reporting, and CGT
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Maintaining advanced knowledge of professional skills and accounting principles, including adherence to the TPB code of practice

About You

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, along with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field. You will possess:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage workflow effectively
  • A dedication to client service, taking ownership and accountability for your tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build robust relationships internally and externally

  • Experience with Xero and XPM (preferred)
  • The capability to conduct peer review work and handle asset protection and small business tax
