Role Overview

As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will be responsible for providing a strategic framework for land use planning strategies, policies, and environmental management in Sutherland Shire. Your primary focus will be on contributing to planning processes, leading project teams, conducting research, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental planning or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and practises
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Experience in GIS, computer modelling, and graphics is desirable but not essential.

  • Package: $100,816 - $112,360 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation. Salary will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
  • Hours of work: Temporary full-time position 35 hours per week. Opportunity expected to be available up to 18 months.
