Sales Manager - Outbound Lead Generation

As our new Sales Manager, you will be a main contributor to achieve our vision and help us attract more business customers.

You will be responsible for coaching and developing your team of Sales Development Representatives to generate new business opportunities and qualify prospects to engage in a scheduled consultation with an Account Executive.

This will be achieved through targeted industry-based campaigns, taking a multi-channel approach.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • You have previous experience leading a sales team with a proven track record of over-achieving your targets and promoting a high-performance culture within your team
  • You enjoy getting your team motivated every day, take advantage of their individual strengths and develop them further through coaching and mentoring
  • Previous experience in the training industry is not required, but may be helpful. But most importantly, you have experience advancing the entire sales process.
  • You have effective interpersonal skills - you are able to engage, influence and negotiate at a senior and executive level
  • You are a strong communicator who effectively interacts with, and leads the team by example
  • You enjoy to collaborate, problem-solve and innovate to achieve the best business outcome
  • Your personal and professional values closely align with our GO1 values

 

Your Responsibilities

Your main focus is your team. You set them up for individual success by  

  • motivating and coaching your team each and every day - you know your team's individual strengths, challenges and long-term goals

  • rewarding and acknowledging personal milestones and successes 

  • conducting morning meetings, call coaching sessions, one on one meetings and group training sessions to identify, coach and develop competencies within the team
  • managing performance effectively and where necessary creating personal development plans to address any gaps
  • fostering collaboration across all GO1 departments
  • communicating company goals, changes, deadlines and any other messages to the team 

 

You will also

  • prepare reporting and assist the Head of Outbound Lead Generation with forecasting sales and revenue.

  • identify cause-effect relationships and what levers can be pulled to drive performance

  • identify product feature opportunities - raising them with the GO1 product team through the established process
