Our 108 place centre located in Cheltenham is looking for a Diploma qualified Lead Educator to join the team within the Toddler room (2-3yr old). We are looking for Educators who are not only able to provide engaging programs for the children, but have the drive to make this the best service in the community, while also being caring, empathetic, passionate and respectful. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate holistic play based learning experiences for your allocated group of children
  • Unleash your creative side to embed a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment
  • Value every child as an individual, so we can best help them to unlock and achieve their potential 
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service
  • You will share your passion and knowledge of children's learning and teaching methods with a supportive team
  • Promote positive outcomes for children 
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Who we’re looking for:

  • Hold a Diploma in Children's Services (ACECQA approved)
  • A current Working with Children’s Check
  • A strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Evidence of sound professional experience that shows initiative and strong sense of personal responsibility for meeting objectives, modelling of professional and ethical behaviour and commitment to personal development.
  • Dedication to developing the future of children and passion for expanding on children's interests
  • The enthusiasm to be proactive in implementing quality curriculum
  • Ability to apply effective verbal and written communication and leadership strategies to engage employees and enable them to work collaboratively
  • A friendly and energetic demeanour

About Kids House Cheltenham

Our brand-new purpose-built Cheltenham service is set over 3 floors and our current team work closely together and have amazing supportive attitudes. This service offers lots of outdoor space, making this service feel fresh and airy. There are 9 rooms, licenced for 108 children, open between 6.30am – 6.30pm. Our children regularly enjoy the benefits of having an art studio along with a sustainability program, full breakfast bar and onsite cook. With smaller class sizes, this service allows you to build strong and lasting relationships with the families and work cohesively as a team.
